2 men steal $14,424 in iPhones from Glendale Apple Store

Two men in their 20s are wanted in connection with a late January grand theft of 14 iPhones from an Apple Store in Glendale worth more than $14,400, authorities said.

The iPhones were stolen at 8:40 p.m. Jan. 30 from the Apple Store at the Americana at Brand, Glendale police said.

When the men entered the store, officials said, they selected the iPhones, ripped them from their security tethers and ran out of the store with the merchandise worth $14,424.

The stolen phones were iPhone 7 models, said Glendale Police Department spokeswoman Tahnee Lightfoot, who added that officers have found no good witnesses because the incident happened so quickly.

One of the suspects is described as African-American between the ages of 20 Sultanbet and 25, from 5-foot-10 to 6 feet tall with a thin build.

The other suspect is also African-American and between the age of 20 and 25. He is between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-9 with a thin build and shaved head.

Crime Stoppers, officials said, is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
