NORTH BRUNSWICK -- A 6-month-old baby was critically injured in a crash between a car and a school bus Tuesday, according to ABC 7.

The crash occurred around 3 p.m. at the intersection of Carolier Lane and Route 130 North.

The report said law enforcement sources believe the bus struck the car, and that police are investigating whether the child was unrestrained and which party went through the intersection illegally.

North Brunswick police would only say that four were injured - the bus driver and two adults and a baby in the car - and that all four were taken to the hospital by EMS. No students were on the bus, they said.

Police, however, would not confirm the age of the baby and also would not comment on the condition of those injured or say how the crash occurred.
