The National Research Centre on Human Evolution (CENIEH), held this year in the course of the European Night of the Researchers, their 6th campaign of donation and collection –special– teeth together, as always, Mouse Perez, supported by helpers of his House-Museum in Madrid.
This year, it will be the 2nd time the small children's museum to play in an active way, also, the functions of reception of pieces of dental reach, of children and adults, for subsequent studies of the variability, morphology and histology dental for scientific purposes of anthropology dental in the laboratories of the CENIEH.
This action it has the full approval of a Mouse Perez , who authorizes, encourages, and applauds that the missing tooth to remain in possession of its owner to donate it for scientific purposes as the one carried out on this occasion. In addition, each donor will receive an honorary diploma from the centre distinguiéndole as a research assistant Pérez, receiving in turn a gift of the own House-Museum.
Are many institutions that are involved in this campaign, coordinated by Dr. Marina Martínez de Pinillos, along with the researchers Cecilia García Campos and Ana Pantoja Pérez, who finds, thanks to donations from individuals, gather a collection of the teeth of most important reference around the world.
These parts will be delivered in the facilities of the House-Museum Mouse Perez (Calle Arenal, nº8, 1st floor) during the evening of Friday 27 September between 17:00 and 20:00 hours. It is important to note that during that day there shall be the regular guided tours of the small museum.
