Delaware man charged with DUI after stop in Lambertville, police say

LAMBERTVILLE - John L. Wallden, 53, of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, was charged with DUI after an early-morning traffic stop this month, police said.

Patrolman Brian Pascoe stopped Wallden near Route 29 and Weeden Street at 1:14 a.m. on Feb. 11 after seeing him driving in the left lane on Route 165, police said.

Wallden was under the influence of alcohol and placed under arrest, police said. He was also issued motor-vehicle summonses for careless driving and failure to keep right before being released with a pending court date.

Police in Clinton Township reported the arrest of Alyssa Laux, 20, of Clinton, who was found to be in possession of a collapsible baton, as well as metal knuckles with an incorporated folding knife, both of which are prohibited weapons.

Officers discovered the weapons during a stop 1xbet on Route 173 at 3:05 p.m. on Feb. 11. Laux was stopped because the 2009 BMW 745 she was driving had tinted windows. Lauz was charged with possession of prohibited weapons and issued a motor-vehicle summons for tinted windows before being released pending a court date, police said.
