Man struck in arm in Bridgeton shooting, cops say

BRIDGETON -- Masked gunmen shot at a group of men on Saturday evening, injuring one in the arm, police said.

Three men were walking on Fairview Avenue behind Burlington Manor Apartments Saturday around 4:45 p.m. when three men, armed with handguns and wearing masks, approached them, according to Bridgeton Police Department. Without a word shared between the two groups, the gunmen began shooting at the three.

The three men ran off in different directions, but not before one was shot in the arm.

Man fatally shot in head in shooting, cops say

Police heard reports of the shooting and, while going to investigate, were dispatched to Buckshutem and Burlington roads to help the man shot in the arm. Authorities transported him to Inspira Medical Center Vineland.

Police describe the the gunmen as young, possibly teenagers, and wearing dark clothing.
