1Picnic in the Park: The annual Victorian-themed gathering in Tampa's Plant Park invites families to step back in time and enjoy some free old-fashioned diversions. Play croquet or badminton and table games including dominoes, checkers, jacks or tiddlywinks. There will be strolling models in vintage clothing, art activities and entertainment including a barbershop quartet. Bring a picnic or food trucks will be on site. You'll find free ice cream and popcorn, too. Free 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday, $1 admission to the Plant Museum from noon to 5 p.m. The park is at 401 W Kennedy Blvd., on the west bank of the Hillsborough River.

2Gasparilla Outward Bound Voyage: At last, the end of Gasparilla season, and what have we here? Another party! Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla will celebrate conquering Tampa with live music and merriment. The Jose Gasparilla sailing vessel will dock 2-6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Tampa Convention Center, where the pirates will return the keys to the city to the mayor and head back to sea. Free admission. 333 S Franklin St., Tampa.

3Streetcar Live: No need to wear headphones on TECO's Line Streetcar on Saturday night; there will be a free live concert for riders from 5-7 p.m. This month brings Gypsy folk rock music by Getby. Trolly fare is $2.50 one way, $5 all day. Centennial Park, 1800 E Eighth Ave., Tampa. (813) 254-4278.

4Curious George Bike Day: Children ages 3 to 6 can get a free bike helmet before riding with Curious George around Pasco's Veterans Memorial Park. There will be a bicycle rodeo, healthy cooking demonstrations, photo opportunities, free books, inflatable games, crafts and a performance by Silly Sam the Music Man. 9 a.m.-noon Saturday.
