1Picnic in the Park: The annual Victorian-themed gathering in Tampa's Plant Park invites families to step back in time and enjoy some free old-fashioned diversions. Play croquet or badminton and table games including dominoes, checkers, jacks or tiddlywinks. There will be strolling models in vintage clothing, art activities and entertainment including a barbershop quartet. Bring a picnic or food trucks will be on site. You'll find free ice cream and popcorn, too. 2Gasparilla Outward Bound Voyage: At last, the end of Gasparilla season, and what have we here? Another party! Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla will celebrate conquering Tampa with live music and merriment. The Jose Gasparilla sailing vessel will dock 2-6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Tampa Convention Center, where the pirates will return the keys to the city to the mayor and head back to sea. 4Curious George Bike Day: Children ages 3 to 6 can get a free bike helmet before riding with Curious George around Pasco's Veterans Memorial Park.
