'Gary from Chicago' won't appear on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' on Monday

Accidental Oscars star Gary Alan Coe, also known as "Gary from Chicago," won't be extending his 15 minutes of fame on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Monday, a representative for the late-night show said.

The rep said producers scrapped a bit that was supposed to feature the tour bus guests who crashed Sunday's Oscars because they "made the creative decision to focus on other topics" from the awards show.

In between awards Sunday, Kimmel welcomed to the Oscars people he said were on a sightseeing tour of Hollywood. One man, wearing a sweatshirt and clutching a phone, introduced himself as Gary Alan Coe from Chicago.

He became an instant hit on Twitter as he met and snapped pictures with celebrities. Kimmel introduced him to Ryan Gosling and Nicole Kidman, and he clutched "Moonlight" star Mahershala Ali's award for best actor in a supporting role.

"I feel like you're ignoring the white celebrities," Kimmel said.

"Yes, I am," Coe said before revealing he is engaged.

Denzel Washington "married" Coe and his fiancee near the stage.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife. Kiss the bride," Washington said.

"He's Denzel, so it's legal," Kimmel said.

"Jimmy Kimmel Live" airs at 10:35 p.m. weeknights on ABC.
