What to do if you suspect you have herpes?

Herpes is a contagious infection that affects the person on his genitals, inside mouth, and in the vicinity of the mouth area. The herpes is dangerous if it spread through a sexual encounter. People fail to understand this. If you have herpes in your mouth then it is not a big problem. However, the infection is on the private part then it creates few problems. You can feel the stinging sensation, burning feel, difficulty in walking and many more things. Hardly few people take the infection seriously. They do not consult with doctors. It is important that you ask your partner about the problem. Be straight to him and explain why you think he has the infection or you have the infection. It does not matter who has the infection as it is contagious in nature. If either one of us thinks that you have the infection of herpes then it is better that both of you consult the doctor to get it straight. It is even better to not to involve in any kind of sexual relationship for a period of time. This will make sure that you or your partner do not get the sexually transmitted infection. 

3.      Do not feel embarrassed or heartbroken 

Sometimes, when the young ones find out that they have herpes or they are likely to get sexually transmitted infections, they tend to freak out. This should not be the case. This infection is not a big issue. With the treatment, it will vanish anywhere between 10 days to 25 days. With treatment, it can vanish within a couple of days. There is no need to feel embarrassed about the problem, as it is quite a common problem in adults too. Some people even freak out and think their life has ended. 7.      Repeat the testing process 

If you find out that the previous testing results showed that you are not infected with any sexually transmitted infection then feel good about it. Then for just the sake of surety, you need to go to the testing center periodically. If you do this, then it will help you to clear all the doubts in your head. If you find any infection later, then go for treatment else feel happy. If you did not find the infection at first checkup then it is likely that you do not have any infection.
