At least three dead in a shootout in California
A series of gunfights shook this Tuesday Rancho Tehama, a rural town in northern California, causing the deaths of three people, including the attacker who was gunned down by the police. The motives of the shooter are unknown, but the authorities believe that he attacked in different parts of the municipality, including a primary school. Among the wounded are minors. A school district employee has confirmed to a local station that several students have been displaced to a hospital. Phil Johnston, Deputy County sheriff, has explained that no pupil was shot in the school. More than a hundred police have moved to school and investigated at least five different points. The incindente occurred at eight o'clock in the morning local time, 115 miles north of Sacramento, the state capital. The attack takes place within a few days of a massacre in a Texas church in which 26 people were killed and a month and a half after another 58 died in a concert in Las Vegas (Nevada), the worst shootout in the country's history.
