Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) – A driver overturned his car on Autobahn 57 and died of his injuries. The 50-year-old initially drove in the direction of Roermond in Kreuz Kaarst, but then suddenly pulled the car to the left, the police said on Sunday. As a result, the car landed on a crash barrier, spun across the road and ended up in a deep pit. It stayed there on the roof. Helpers rescued the seriously injured from the wreck, rescue workers took him to the hospital. The man died there shortly afterwards from his severe injuries. The accident happened on Friday.
