Chicago-area teens win more than $55K on 'Wheel of Fortune'

Chicago-area teens Ben Sklansky and Zach Larsen won't need allowances for awhile.

The pals won more than $55,000 in cash and prizes on Tuesday's episode of "Wheel of Fortune" as part of the game show's "teen best friends week." Teams of teens compete for a chance to win shopping sprees, vacations and cash on episodes scheduled to air this week.

Sklansky, who attends New Trier High School, and Larsen, who lives in Chicago, won a trip to Hawaii in addition to cash. In a statement, a "Wheel of Fortune" rep said the pair plan to spend their winnings on cars and college.
