Nine Bangor Area High School students were selected through auditions from PMEA District 10 Chorus to win a place in the PMEA Region V Chorus Festival to be held this weekend at the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts in Bethlehem.
A public concert will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25 at Lehigh University's Zoellner Performing Arts Center, 420 E. Packer Ave.
Pyrotechnics plan gets doused
The festival is Oleybet under the direction of guest conductor, Bradley Olesen, director of choral and elementary music for Dallas Independent School District. Olesen oversees 334 programs at 237 secondary and elementary Schools with 160,000 students.
