A man from Barcelona, 55, has died when he was rushing while climbing at the Troumouse peak, in the municipality of Bielsa (Huesca). The victim was accompanied by another man, also 55, who has been unharmed.
The Huesca Civil Guard has reported that he received at 1:00 pm, a notice of a mountaineer who claimed that he had heard a noise of falling stones and cries of a person asking for help, although he could not see it.
Immediately, specialists from the Special Mountain Intervention Rescue Groups (Greim), Air Unit based on Benasque and Medical 061. In said location observed a person on a wall that moved the arms in a sign of Help.
After recognizing the area, a body was observed in a channel, which was requested support from the reserve personnel, with supply of extra material to be able to intervene once it was possible to put the companion that had been sighted.
After several attempts, due to the strong wind, the pilots achieved, through a stationary, to approximate the aircraft as much as possible to the land. The specialist jumped from the aircraft on decomposed terrain and, later, once on the terrain complex, through the use of a rope, led the person Ileea to the point to be evacuated to Boltaña (Huesca).
Next, they fell to the place where the life was located without life and moved it to an area where extraction was viable through the aircraft, descending 400 meters in total and moving to the deceased on a stretcher more than 200 meters by decomposed terrain. From there, he was taken to the Helisuperfice de Boltana and then in a funeral car to the tanning of the town, finishing the operation at 10:00 p.m.
