40 years after his last studio album, the legendary Sueca Abba pop band has announced this Thursday the publication of a new album and a nearby spectacle with holograms of its members, now septuagenaries.
"It started with two songs and then we ask ourselves, why not do a whole album," explained two of the group's components, Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson, in a broadcast event on the Internet from London.
With his eight discs and about 40 singles, Abba became a small Swedish band to a legendary group that has survived all the fashions.
The members of Abba -acronimo of the pile names of their members - are now all septuagenaries: Anni-Frida Lyngstad (75), Agnetha Fältskog (71), Björn Ulvaeus (76) and Benny Andersson (74). For a while they formed two glamorous couples, but now they are divorced.Updated Date: 04 September 2021, 14:44
