The footballer Turkish Arda Turan , former Atletico Madrid and Barcelona , has been sentenced one year and eight months of jail , without immediate entry into prison, for carry without license a gun, with the shot to the floor in a hospital.
The international Turkish, currently in the Basaksehir Istanbul, you will not have to enter prison, unless they committed another offence in the next five years, having declined to appeal the ruling.
The facts courts dating back to October 2018, when Turan fought in a night club with the popular singer Berkan Sahin , who had accused the player of having harassed his wife.
The court acquitted Turan of the crime of harassment, but convicted him of the injury intended, to have broken nose when singer ; by possession of weapons ; and for shot to the ground the shooter in the hospital where she had gone Sahin after the fight.
During the trial, the player denied the harassment, but he conceded the other facts, while it ensures that the shooting was accidental.
"Thank God, the Turkish Justice has considered that it was a shameful defamation," wrote Turan in reference to the acquittal of the crime of harassment, in a statement released by NTV.
