The published Christmas photograph this weekend by an American congressman accompanied by heavily armed family members and asking for ammunition to Santa Claus, just days after registering another slaughter at an institute, has caused a commotion in the United States.
Thomas Massie, Republican Legislator by Kentucky, published in the social network Twitter a snapshot in which he is seen smiling and armed along with what seem to be familiar, also with weapons, next to a Christmas tree.
"Merry Christmas! Postscript, Santa Please bring ammunition," said Congressman.
Massie's message became a trend in social networks, especially because the previous week the country lived a new tragedy, when a 15-year-old student killed four colleagues and wounded seven others in a shootout at an Oxford Institute ( Michigan).
Another legislator by the same state, the Democrat John Yarmuth, quickly came out of the comment of his colleague and remarked that "not everyone in Kentucky is an insensitive imbecile."
For his part, Manuel Oliver, father of one of the 17 deaths in another shooting at a Florida School in 2018, charged harshly against Massie.
