The new novel of Elena Ferrante (Naples, 1943), the no longer unknown author of the successful literary saga Two Friends , which started with "The friend of great" 2011 – adapted to the television in 2018–, come to the Italian bookstores the next November 7 . This was announced by his publisher in Italy, Edizioni E/O, last Monday, September 9, via his official Twitter account.

Also inched its editorial anglo-saxon, Europe Editions, the first paragraph of his next book , that reveals where it is located the history of Naples, the same city in which it takes place "The friend great". However, still unknown is the title of the work .

After the publication of the four novels that comprise the saga of Two Friends (the latest, "The lost girl", in 2014), Ferrante collected in "Incidental Inventions" columns that he had written in 2018 for "The Guardian" about "life, love and the female experience".

The mysterious identity of its author was added to the literary phenomenon about the friendship and rivalry between two women who have grown up in a poor neighbourhood of Naples; his anonymity , however, ended in 2016 when an Italian newspaper revealed who was, supposedly, behind that pseudonym: the translator Anita Raja.
