Ibai joins the Streamers strike on Twitch

A large group of Streamers has declared today, September 1, the first strike on Twitch, Amazon's live-owned video platform, as a way to protest against conditions and lack of help on their part.

Those who join the strike, will not emit today on twitch as protest. Among the great names, Ibai Llanos, the main Streamer in Castilian and one of the most relevant figures of worldwide, capable of interviewing Messi and rubbing with other great footballers such as Kun Agüero or Gerard Piqué.

The main motivator of this strike is the serious problem of 'Bots' attacks' that spoil reputations and streams of creators and against which Twitch has not only did anything, but punishable those who suffer from these attacks.

These bots attacks take advantage of a Twitch feature, 'raids', a way that a streamer sends your audience to another to help promote it. However, this tool has been used to carry out racist, xenophobic, macho and lgbtphobic attacks. Since Twitch punishes all these attitudes, those who receive a RAID, something they can not avoid, come as their reputation or even their account is coming down by an agent who can not control.

Among all the great twitch figures, only IBAI has pronounced itself in favor of the strike. Other names like Elrubius, The Grefg or Auronplay have not pronounced. However, smaller figures have been pointed to the protest.

Twitch is one of the most important platforms and online services in the world, with a million-dollar audiences. His hard control of the content has been criticized as much as his free hand for those creators who, despite issuing controversial content, are not punished for their popularity.
