Since then the CBS chain has opted by the American actor over 418 episodes, but everything has its end. This week the North American station confirmed the exit of it from television production.

His official farewell has produced an authentic media earthquake, although the CBS bet by casting the gibbs march of the fiction frame with a really low profile. It was in the fourth episode of the nineteenth season, which is currently issued in the United States, when the followers of the series knew Harmon lived, that is, Gibbs.

In the last two seasons, the presence of the American actor, usual face in minor feature films since the 1970s, was increasingly reduced. However, and according to several sources of the entertainment industry in the United States, the cache of it, close to 500,000 euros per episode, has been maintained throughout this time intact.

CBS has not yet confirmed if the gear of Navy Gibbs criminal investigation will be final or can be rejoined in new productions on the next 20th anniversary of the series. Navy is also one of the most important franchises of CBS with several spin offs: NCIS: Los Angeles and NCIS: New Orleans.

The withdrawal of the Gibbs paper from the series has also brought to the memory of followers more faithful another very sounded gear. In 2017 Pauley Perrette, the actress who gave Abby Sciuto and one of the three original interpreters next to Harmon and David McCallum, left the drama at the end at the fifteenth season. The withdrawal of it on that occasion was wrapped in a great controversy when reporting having suffered "multiple physical abuse" during the filming of the series.

The interpreter, 49, did not identify the person who supposedly carried out those abuse against her and the chain did not give more details about the investigation.
