Philip Holzer is the new Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Eintracht Frankfurt football AG. The 54-year-old former investment banker who has been a member since 2009 and the highest harmony-body, is on Tuesday to the inaugural meeting of the new Supervisory Board by the shareholders – main shareholder of Eintracht Frankfurt e. V. and the Supervisory Board members have been elected unanimously. The new Supervisory Board has been reduced from nine to seven people.
In times of Corona-pandemic, be it "an exciting task", said Holzer: "I have clear Beliefs and advocate for them. And I like the discourse.“ According to the assessment of the Association's President Peter Fischer, Holzer stands for "three crucial properties: for experience, expertise and team spirit". As Chairman of the audit and Finance Committee and a member of the main Committee, Holzer was involved in the past years in important decisions.
