The American Former President Bill Clinton, 75, left the California Hospital on Sunday in Sunday in which he was entered by an infection, informed the head of the medical team who treated him.
"President Clinton has been registered today at the UC Irvine Medical Center," said Dr. Alsel N. Amin, in statements collected in a statement published by Clinton's spokesman on Twitter.
Live images of the CNN chain showed the expression leaving the facilities with mask and accompanied by his wife, Hillary, raising his thumb, after spending five nights boarding.
"His fever and his number of white blood cells have returned to normal and return home, to New York, to finish their antibiotic treatment," Amin added.
According to US media, Clinton had an infection of the urinary tract that extended to the bloodstream, causing a sepsis.
The president was in California for an event related to his foundation when he felt tired. He went to the hospital where he became ruled out that he had Covid-19 or cardiac problems.
