The President of the European Commission, Ursula with Der Leyen, has announced the entrance to Spain of the first 9,000 million euros of the Next Generation funds, which launches the recovery and resilience plan of Spain, as stated in its account of Twitter.
This "ambitious plan" will provide "a crucial impulse" that will allow to make the green pact "A reality," he said. Likewise, it will help "digitize the economy" and make Spain "be more resilient than ever."
The 9,000 million suppose 13% pre-financing and will be used to invest in sustainable renewable energy sources, support the digitalization of SMEs and autonomous and reduce juvenile unemployment and improve vocational training, Von der Limen explained.
For its part, Pedro Sánchez celebrated the arrival of these funds with a message in which he begged to continue advancing "towards a more green, digital, feminist and cohesive country, starting the great transformations that our economy needs". The Vice President of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, Nadia Calviño, also showed her satisfaction with a similar message.
