The initial analysis of the forensic doctor in charge of examining the body found on Sunday in the state of Wyoming is that the corpse is that of Petito, and "The initial determination of the form of death is homicide," according to an FBI statement.

The authorities initiated a massive search of Petito, 22, when his family reported her missing on September 11, after embarking on a road trip with her fiancé.

Petito resigned to his work and launched himself to travel the country in July with his boyfriend Brian Laundrie, 23,. The journey of it seemed idyllic according to a series of publications shared in Instagram social network.

Petito's parents recently communicated with her when the couple, who traveled in a rolling house, was in the Grand Teton National Park area, located in Wyoming, south of Yellowstone.
