The Social Agreement to urgently process a new Labor Framework has today registered a significant progress in order to be approved with the consensus of entrepreneurs and unions. The Government has submitted a proposal that suppresses the limits to the temporality raised so far and assumes the approach of the employers for the hiring of discontinuous fixed workers, one of the axes of negotiation.
The fact that the Government has put on the table proposals submitted by the employers to be negotiated with trade union organizations is a gesture that had not occurred so far and that allows entrepreneurs, in the absence of knowing the opinion of the affected sectors , consider it as a "good proposal", according to sources of negotiation.
On the other side, trade union organizations have been less optimistic, admitting that it has been negotiated on these points but "without hardly awards". The limits to temporary procurement raised in previous drafts had been rejected frontally by employers, both in their initial version of 15% of the staff for all companies and in their subsequent modification, in which limits were established depending on the number of the number of workers of the companies.
