The Mexican actress Carmen Salinas died after several weeks hospitalized by a stroke, confirmed on Thursday night the family in a statement.
"With deep pain we make your knowledge that Actress Carmen Salinas has died today, December 9, 2021," his relatives reported in a statement that shared through social networks.
"We thank all its support and respect samples towards our family: as well as signs of affection and prayers that gave our beloved Carmelite Salinas," the text continued.
On November 11, the news was given that the actress had had a strong deterioration of health, something that shocked the Mexican population.
According to Salinas's nephew, Gustavo Briones, the actress had been admitted to the hospital in gravity after having suffered a stroke that caused him a natural comma.

Born in Torreón, in the northern State of Coahuila in 1939 the actress was one of the most beloved in the country after maintaining an active career for more than half a century.

Salinas was also involved in political life when linking to the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), which was deputy from 2015 to 2018.
