If the renewal of the General Council of the Judiciary (CGPJ) was already complicated enough, another element that disturbs the relationships between the PSOE and the PP must now be added. Socialists have facilitated that the popular negotiator in this matter, Enrique López, has been cited to declare in the Commission that he investigates the Kitchen case in Congress, that is, the alleged espionage to the former popular treasurer Luis Bárcenas with media and funds from the Ministry from the interior during the Mariano Rajoy government.
The name of López, who is also a Counselor at the executive who leads Isabel Díaz Ayuso in the Community of Madrid, has been included in the new list of appeals that has been approved on Tuesday at the Kitchen Commission and that will force to parade by The Congress during the next months also to Mariano Rajoy, María Dolores de Cospedal, Jorge Fernández Díaz and, for the second time, to the retired commissioner José Manuel Villaréjo.
The citation of López has angry the PP because the counselor Madrid did not occupy any organic charge in the Popular Party. He is supposedly cited because he becomes brought into contact Bárcenas, when he was already in prison, with the PP lawyers.
For the Popular Spokesman at Congress, Cuca Gamarra, his call is the "test" that the Research Commission is "a circus and a theater that is riding the PSOE."
The Socialist Parliamentary spokesman, Héctor Gómez, has justified the citation of López without much conciseness about the reasons despite the reiteration of questions about it.
