The Pope launched against the "cult of appearance" and "superficiality" as it has criticized the "clericalism" present in the Church and has asked the priests who do not feel "perfect".
"It's a warning for all time and all, Church and Society: Never take advantage of the role itself to crush others, never win over the skin of the weakest!" He said the pontiff during Sunday's angel.
Pending the window of his private study at the Apostolic Palace, the Pope alerted and the "folds" in the faith and the hypocrisy of those who are not consistent between what they think and what they do. Thus he defined "clericalism" as the attitude that they profess those who feel "above the humble".
For the Pope, "Be careful with the hypocrites" is to be attentive not to "base life on the cult of appearance" and "from externality". For this reason, he criticized "the exaggerated care of the image itself".
Thus, he alerted at the temptation to "Double faith to our interests". "Those scribes covered, with the name of God, vainly and, even worse, used religion to attend their businesses, abusing their authority and exploiting the poor," he said.
The Pope also showed his "concern" by the situation in Ethiopia where the Government has declared the national emergency with an immediate effect before the possibility that the combatants of the northern region of Tigray enter the capital.
"I ask for prayers to prevail the fraternal concord" -Ha noted the pontiff- that has also urged to use the dialogue.
