The incident reaccomes its historical maximum with 1,360 cases after posting almost 100,000 contagions in a day

The Autonomous Communities on Tuesday have notified the Ministry of Health 99,671 new cases of COVID-19. The total number of contagions in Spain is already raised to 6,032,297 since the beginning of the pandemic, according to official statistics.

The incidence accumulated in the last 14 days per 100,000 inhabitants is 1,360.62 compared to 1,206.31 on Wednesday. In the past two weeks a total of 645,624 positive has been recorded.

In the report of this Tuesday, 114 new deaths have been added. Up to 89,253 people with positive diagnostic test have died since the virus arrived in Spain, according to the data collected by the ministry.

The situation in Spanish hospitals worsens a bit since Monday, especially in the ICU. Currently, there are 9,852 patients admitted by Covid-19 throughout Spain (9,530 on Monday) and 1,736 in ICU (1,715 on Monday).

In the last 24 hours, there have been 1,491 income (1,380 on Monday) and 1,105 high (534 on Monday). The rate of occupation of beds occupied by Coronavirus is at 8.06% (7.69% on Monday) and in the ICU at 18.71% (18.26% on Monday).

According to the global occupation of beds in hospitals, being greater than 5%, Spain would be a country at average risk. However, if occupation is observed in UCI, being greater than 15%, this would indicate that Spain is at high risk.

Autonomies with the most occupied UCIs by these patients are Catalonia (36.68%), Basque Country (25.4%), Valencian Community (24.08%) and Melilla (23.53%). Extremadura (3.63%), Galicia (6.68%), Andalusia (10.1%), and Castilla La Mancha (14.57%) are kept more relief.

Meanwhile, the positivity rate of the tests carried out is at 18.88%, compared to 17.94% on Monday. The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends that this data be below 5% to consider as 'controlled' the propagation of the virus. In addition, according to the traffic light by which the risk is regulated in Spain, when overcoming this figure, 15% would pass from high risk to very high risk.

AI in young people has already equated practically with other Etarian groups. The one of 20 and 29 years old returns to highlight as the most affected, with 2,258.16 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

In this way, all the autonomous communities would be already, according to their cumulative incidence, at a very high risk by Covid-19.

In Europe, the worst data maintains the United Kingdom (2,006.2), Spain, Switzerland (1,340.2) and France (1,306,8). The countries with better data are Romania (45), Ukraine (1997) and Serbia (223.06).

The slow drip of immunization continues once 89.9% of the target population with full pattern, which represents 79.8% of the total population. 37,858,971 people have already received the full guideline.

By ages, the group of more than 80 years is the only one that reaches 100%, while the one of 30 and 39 years stay at 78.4%, thus constituting the agenda with a lower percentage of vaccinates.

According to the data of the Ministry of Health, 13,031,375 third doses, 7.418.518 of Pfizer and 5,612,857 of modern have already been administered. These data collects additional doses in people of age higher than 40 years, essential workers or having received Janssen.
