The National Institute of Cybersecurity (NNCIBE) has alerted this Wednesday that calls have been detected by classroom social security, in which they are asked for a code they have received through SMS on their mobile devices.
During the call it is indicated that it is a verification code to receive the third dose of the VACCO against the COVID but, in reality, it is the code that sends whatsapp to be able to log in from another device.
However, in case the problem has not been solved after reporting the application itself, it offers the option to resort to the Internet service provider to make a number change.
Also, remember that these stolen accounts are used by cybercriminals to try to speak with the victim contacts and steal their whatsapp account with the same technique.
Therefore, it recommends those who have already been victims who notify their contacts from what happened by another way (phone call, email, social network, SMS ...), so that they are aware that it is not their known who You are writing or requesting your verification code.Updated Date: 15 October 2021, 18:28
