The cumulative incidence indicator (IA) was placed on Tuesday at 290.10 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, after a large increase of more than 40 points compared to last week. The incidence of seven days, key to detect possible changes of trend, is located in 160.20 cases per 100,000, according to the last report of the Ministry of Health. Thus, Spain approaches the high risk.

The number of new cases, together with mortality, mark an upward trend. 4,827 cases have been reported today, compared to 8,119 on Friday, and 78 deaths, compared to 37. Since the beginning of the pandemic, healing has registered a total of 5,246,766 cases and 88,237 deceased.

By ages, the most affected group continues to be less than 11 years, with an AI of 498.18, (412.1 on Friday). The group between 40 and 49 years (351,58) and that of between 30 and 39 (300,45) are followed. The most affected regions today are Navarra, with an AI of 881,28; Basque Country (712.81) and Aragon (554,77).

Extremadura (138.54), Andalusia (136.36), Castilla-La Mancha (147,56), Ceuta (174,58) and Madrid (174,91) are those that maintain a lower incidence. At European level, Czech Republic is the country with the highest incidence (2,311,2), followed by Belgium (2,147.2), the Netherlands (1,791.8) and Austria (1,586.5). The most unknown countries of the continent are, one more day, Romania (109.3), Sweden (228.8) and Spain, according to the report of the Health Alerts and Emergencies Coordination Center (CCAES).
