The cumulative incidence indicator (IA) was placed on Tuesday at 290.10 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, after a large increase of more than 40 points compared to last week. The incidence of seven days, key to detect possible changes of trend, is located in 160.20 cases per 100,000, according to the last report of the Ministry of Health. Thus, Spain approaches the high risk.
The number of new cases, together with mortality, mark an upward trend. 4,827 cases have been reported today, compared to 8,119 on Friday, and 78 deaths, compared to 37. Since the beginning of the pandemic, healing has registered a total of 5,246,766 cases and 88,237 deceased.
By ages, the most affected group continues to be less than 11 years, with an AI of 498.18, (412.1 on Friday). The group between 40 and 49 years (351,58) and that of between 30 and 39 (300,45) are followed. The most affected regions today are Navarra, with an AI of 881,28; Basque Country (712.81) and Aragon (554,77).
Extremadura (138.54), Andalusia (136.36), Castilla-La Mancha (147,56), Ceuta (174,58) and Madrid (174,91) are those that maintain a lower incidence. Regarding the hospital situation, the percentage of beds occupied with patients from Coronavirus in hospitals is at 4.07% and up to 10.29% of the beds of intensive care units. Even so, to calculate the actual occupation, the ones that are entered by other pathologies or surgeries must be added.
At European level, Czech Republic is the country with the highest incidence (2,311,2), followed by Belgium (2,147.2), the Netherlands (1,791.8) and Austria (1,586.5). The most unknown countries of the continent are, one more day, Romania (109.3), Sweden (228.8) and Spain, according to the report of the Health Alerts and Emergencies Coordination Center (CCAES).
The slow drip of vaccination continues once 89.5% of the target population with full pattern is reached. Specifically, 37,67,77,168 people have already received the full guideline.
By ages, the group of more than 80 years is the only one that reaches 100%, while that of between 30 and 39 years stay at 77.6%, thus constituting the agenda with a lower percentage of vaccinates.
According to the data of the Ministry of Health, 5,819,122 third doses, 4,554,665 of Pfizer and 1,264,457 of modern have already been administered. At the moment, the data only collects the additional doses in people of age higher than 70 years or who had received Janssen, although it has already begun to inoculate the reinforcement dose for those over 60 years of age and the Sanitarians.
