The invoice of the light of an average user has been increasing 34.6% in the first half of July with respect to the same month last year, according to facu-consumers data in action.
According to estimates of the Association of Consumers on the evolution of the semi-repeated rate (PVPC), to continue the tariffs, the monthly invoice would be at 84.35 euros, an amount of the receipt even higher than in June, when it was 81.27 euros.
Thus, with the rates of the first fifteen days of this month, the average user will pay 21.68 euros more than in July 2020, when the invoice stood at 62.67 euros.
The Association estimates that the VAT drop at 10% until December while the average price of the megawatt hour is above 45 euros has cushioned the rise at 8.44 euros. If 21% continue to be applied, the receipt would have beat all records, reached 92.79 euros.
To continue thus the rates, July will be the third most expensive receipt at the historical level for the average user. To date, the five highest invoices have been 88.66 euros in the first quarter of 2012, 87.81 euros in January 2017, 83.55 euros, September 2018, 82.13 euros of May 2021 and 81.55 euros February 2021.
The average user used by Facua in its analyzes has a contracted power of 4.4 kilowatts (KW) -the it at the tip and valley - and a consumption of 366 kilowatt time (kWh) monthly.
Regarding the percentages of consumption in the three schedules of the new billing system, the association takes as reference the traditional medium user profile without time discrimination published by the National Market and Competition Commission (CNMC), which consumes the 45% of electricity in the valley time, 29% at the tip and 26% in the plain schedule.
So far, the price of the KWH stood at an average of 11.88 cents. In the first 15 days of July, the average price has been 13.43 cents in the valley, 17.76 cents on plain and 28.86 cents. The arithmetic average between the three sections has been 20,02 cents, 68.5% more than a year ago.

In a statement, the Association notes that under the epigraph 'energy cost', the household invoice with regulated tariff PVPC collects only the total amount to be invoiced. Thus, it does not consist the detailed price of electricity consumption in each of the schedules (Punta, Plain and Valle).
OCU believes that this lack of detail about consumption according to schedule makes it difficult to change consumption habits that the recent regulatory reform intended to compare the price of the regulated tariff PVPC with free market rates, "What free competition Last competition ".
