The vote has taken place today at the unequal headquarters, 500 workers had been called and has counted 98%. 86% has voted in favor. As of tomorrow around 500 people who work at the headquarters of the brand will have a four-day week.
"It is a brave bet by making the company the best place to work and, with the support of workers, unequal takes a step forward in the implementation of disruptive work models and reconciliation and becomes the first company Fashion in Spain to offer this kind of conditions, "they point out in a statement.
"We knew it was a risky proposal and that I could generate doubts, but we are totally convinced that it will contribute to improving the reconciliation between the personal and professional life of all those who are part of unequal," said Alberto Ojinaga, General Director of Design.
It is not the first company that does it. Telefónica has also established a four-day work week pilot program, 32 hours that focus from Monday to Thursday.
