Dyson is a luxury brand, and as such, its products sometimes fall badly to people because their appearance, their performance and, above all, their price are somewhat passed on thread. That does not mean that you can admire what they do.
It is what has happened to me in the month that I have been using one of its new products, the Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde. After this rare name, what there is a fan without blades that filters the dirt and contaminants of the air and that, as the main novelty, includes the possibility of also cleaning the formaldehyde.
Ch2O, formaldehyde, is a compound that is generated naturally and that accumulates more within households than abundant because it abounds in housing construction materials. There are studies that indicate that it can be toxic and even produce certain diseases, even cancer, which is why Dyson has created this fan that eliminates it from the environment.
Despite purifying this and many other particles present in the air, the operation of the fan is as simple as you can imagine: you turn it off and turn it off with the button you have on your front, or with the command that includes and that also allows you to regulate power, rotation and program its operation; And you forget that it is there. If you are striking for something, it is for you to change your filters, but this is something you will not have to do or every six months.
I hope this philosophy of operation was given in more products, because the truth is that Dyson has gotten a fantastic balance between a pilewill that does not bother and it simply works and one that can lie with the amount of options that you have if you wear it well.
The Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde can be connected over the internet by WiFi to communicate with the official application of the brand. From there, it is possible to know in detail all those numbers and initials showing the small fan screen: from the levels of purity of your air to the humidity of the environment or the allergens present. I almost worried a little for the amount of allergens in my house, in someone's house with asthma and dust allergy; But then I remembered that I have three cats and that is normal.
The fan at least left the Impolute Room and, I do not know if it is my thing or something real, I have the feeling that it smells more than "clean" when the fan is running.
Certainly, as a purifier it is better than as a fan, and this is how Dyson sells it. It will not replace an air conditioner in a living room, which during the heat wave has not helped me much; But I can understand that for certain people, worried about the design of your home and by cleaning the air, this product is interesting.
After all, it must be one of the most beautiful fans than I have ever seen. Dyson's designs are quite iconic and have become greatly imitated, not only in fans without blades, but also in vacuums without bag and wireless.
What I have no clear is that the common mortals are going to pay 650 euros for a fan with some intelligent functions. But it is clear that Dyson does not address the common mortals, because most have never worried us (perhaps so far) exposure to chemicals such as formaldehyde.
