Two men appear this Friday before a Londonderry police station, in the northwest of Northern Ireland, after being charged last night from the murder of Journalist Lyra McKee in 2019, the police of the British province reported.
McKee lost her life with 29 years of age when she was shot in Londonderry by the so-called new anger, republican dissidents contrary to the Northland peace process.
A third man, 20, is accused of causing riots and being in possession of homemade bombs, but not the murder of the journalist, whose case caused a great commotion in the United Kingdom.
The three, detained earlier this week, will appear before the court of magistrates of Liverpool through videoconference, according to the Northern Ireland Police Service (PSNI).
McKee had been editor of the Mediagazer news portal. On April 18, 2019 she was killed by shots during disturbances in the Creggan area in Londonderry.Updated Date: 21 September 2021, 04:40
