From today December 1 and until tomorrow, Universia, with the support of Banco Santander, celebrates the first Virtual Employability Fair for Spain and Portugal. Hosted on the Taalentfy platform, the meeting responds to the growing demand for use of virtual environments in the labor market. The aim that is intended is to create an innovative permanent space connection between young talents seeking employment and academic companies and institutions that require those profiles.
"We start from a context that the youth unemployment rate in Spain exceeds 30% and even many companies do not find the talent they seek, therefore, we believe it is essential to continue creating spaces of connection between new professionals, companies and Training, all oriented towards a common goal that is the improvement of employability, "explains Lucía Rabade, a global director of the employability of Universia.

The two-day event, has the participation of companies and institutions such as Banco Santander, NTT Data, Universia Foundation, ACCIONA, Unite, Deloitte and Iberdrola, among others. Students, graduates, recruiters and professionals from professional career services of participating institutions, will present employment opportunities, professional practices and training to improve their employability, all with real-time interactions.
Young people interested must register on the page of the Virtual Fair, after which they can apply for the different offers, generate their competence profile and understand the existing options to form and improve their employability. Thus, students and graduates of Spain and Portugal will have the opportunity to targeted hundreds of offers, chatting with live recruiters in the virtual sphere and participating in video interviews (One to One).
