The WhatsApp Messaging Application has begun to allow its users to install their new App for the Windows Universal Platform (UWP), although at the moment it is in Beta phase.

The Wabetainfo specialized portal announced this Monday whatsapp in the development of two new versions of its application: the first for Windows computers, through the UWP format, and the second for Mac computers with Catalyst Macos.

These desktop applications are independent of the experience for computers using WhatsApp Web and extend the multidispositive mode of the platform, introduced recently and that it does not require having the mobile phone connected.

Now, Wabetainfo has shared more details about whatsapp beta for Windows. Although it is in development, users already have ways to install the UWP service app on Xbox, Windows 10 and later versions.

This new version of the messaging 'App' can already be downloaded to beta from the Microsoft Store, and to log in the user will have to do it from the section 'Synchronized devices' from the WhatsApp account and scan the QR code of the computer.

Wabetainfo has warned that, although the performance of the 'App' beta is generally stable, some features such as archived chats, stickers' updates are not available at the moment.

Likewise, the new application in Beta is equipped with a 'feedback' button with which users who test them can give their opinion to developers and propose changes and improvements for the creation of the stable version.

The design of the 'App' has also been modified; has the appearance of any Windows 10 native application, the gray bottom of the lower and upper bars has disappeared, and the name of the chat user has been expanded with which he is talking about, of whom the image is now shown on the right .
