Bel-Air, the 'reboot' of the Prince of Bel-Air, already has a protagonist. It is Jabari Banks, an actor who will debut with this project on television. Will Smith was in charge of communicating that he had been chosen for the main role in this new fiction.

Banks tells that his father was the first person who told him about the project and told him he should be in him.
