Ex-"Bachelor" Andrej Mangold and his new partner Annika Jung made their first appearance together on the red carpet. The two showed up on Sunday evening and were freshly in love at the Herqul German Boxing Awards ceremony in Berlin. Hand in hand and in elegant outfits, they mastered the flashbulbs.
Mangold threw himself into a classic black tuxedo with a bow tie and shiny patent leather shoes. His girlfriend chose a transparent evening dress with a train and long sleeves, which was also trimmed with golden sequins. The fashion blogger styled her dark blonde hair in playful waves.
The two shared a clip of their first public appearance on Instagram. "First red carpet together," they wrote. And a heartfelt kiss in front of the photographer's camera lenses was also a must, as further photos show.
At the end of August, he confirmed with a video on Instagram that the former Rosenkavalier was in good hands again. The clip showed him romantically on the beach with his new love, hugging and kissing her lovingly. The 35-year-old garnished the whole thing with the hashtag "Finally" ("Finally") and a heart emoji.
If Jung was not yet recognizable in the video, Mangold unpacked in an interview with the "Bild" newspaper about the new woman at his side: "Anni is a smart, beautiful and independent woman who, in her early 30s, has both feet in the middle of the life stands." The two met through a mutual friend about a year ago on the Greek island of Mykonos. The contact eventually became "more intense" until they realized a few weeks ago "that our meetings are now much more than just pure friendship," said Mangold. Before going public with the relationship, they first wanted to be "100 percent sure." That seems to be the case now.
Andrej Mangold was looking for a partner on the RTL show "Der Bachelor" (also available on RTL) in 2019. He also found what he was looking for in Jennifer Lange. But in November 2020, shortly after the couple participated together in the RTL format "Das Sommerhaus der Stars", TV love broke up.
