A "red" Saturday on the roads for the second crossover of the holidays

From Friday, the public road information service sees "orange" at the national level. The difficulties will start at the end of the morning in the direction of the departures in Ile-de-France and will last until the end of the evening.

On Saturday, in the direction of departures, traffic will be "very difficult" on the vast majority of roads, even "extremely difficult" in particular in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and on the Mediterranean Arc.

At the national level, a traffic jam is expected between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.; the difficulties will remain very high until 8:00 p.m.

In the direction of returns, the day of Saturday is also considered "very difficult" throughout the territory.

Sunday August 7 and Monday August 8, traffic will be fluid on the territory (green days), except for the Rhone Valley and along the Mediterranean (orange) where travel difficulties will be expected, throughout the day in the both directions.
