King Charles III celebrates Hanukkah at a reception with Holocaust survivors in London. The monarch received great encouragement for his appearance on Twitter. He visited the Jewish Community Center JW3 in North London for the Hanukkah Festival of Lights.

According to the PA news agency, Charles also danced there with 93-year-old Eva Schloss, Anne Frank's stepsister. "Unfortunately, anti-Semitism still exists," Schlosser told the PA. However, she hopes that these prejudices can be overcome. With regard to the new monarch, she expressed the hope that he could do something about poverty and discrimination. "I hope he will make things easier for everyone and fight against racism. I think he is a very good king," said Schloss.
