Accompanied by bodyguards: Johnny Depp is "besieged by fans"

A week has passed since the jury's decision in the defamation trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. Since then, the actor has not calmed down: Apparently, fans are following him everywhere.

Johnny Depp was surprised by crowds in Birmingham. The actor spent a night in a hotel in the English city. When he wanted to leave his apartment on Monday morning, he had to be accompanied by bodyguards. Numerous fans gathered in front of the hotel to see the US star. "Everywhere he goes he's besieged by fans," a source told the New York Post. Depp looks visibly tense in the photos. The pictures went viral.

Since the verdict in Johnny Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard's defamation trial, the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star has had little privacy. On June 1, a jury in the United States had given Depp mostly right. Heard published an article in the Washington Post in 2018 in which she wrote about being a victim of domestic violence. Although she did not mention Depp's name at the time, the Hollywood star sued her for $ 50 million in damages. Because after the publication of the article, his career is said to have suffered greatly.

The jury found Amber Heard guilty of defamation. The fine was $15 million, but due to laws in Virginia, where the trial took place, Heard is only charged $10.35 million. Depp was also fined $2 million. The jury found that a former lawyer for Depp slandered the actress.

However, an unknown person spent almost $15,000 to get exclusive notes from the defamation trial. As a viewer of the process told "TMZ", he wrote in a notebook throughout the trial and recorded details such as the jury's reactions. The notebook should contain 20 pages per day, and he recorded days 23 to 26 of the process in total.

The author of the notes decided to auction his memento. He wants to donate the highest bid to the Children's Hospital in Los Angeles, as the celebrity portal further reports. The book has now been auctioned for $14,969. He chose the Los Angeles Children's Hospital because it was related to the Depp-Heard case. Heard had testified in court that he had donated $3.5 million to the said hospital - but the money never arrived, as the Children's Hospital confirmed in court.
