After son Jack's stillbirth: Model Chrissy Teigen is pregnant again

Two years ago, US model Chrissy Teigen shocked with pictures from the hospital: she lost her third child in the sixth month. Now the 36-year-old is pregnant again. And she admits: I was nervous for a long time about whether everything would really go well.

US model Chrissy Teigen and her husband, musician John Legend, are expecting another child. This was announced by Teigen on Wednesday evening via Instagram. In her latest post, she is pictured in a crop top and lacy lingerie with her baby bump clearly showing. Just two years ago, Teigen suffered a miscarriage.

"The last few years have been an emotional roller coaster, to say the least," Teigen writes on her post, "but joy has filled our homes and our hearts again." After the loss of her third child Jack in September 2020, she developed great fears because of the renewed pregnancy.

After every positive doctor's appointment, she actually wanted to inform her fans, but she was always too nervous: "I'm just relieved when I hear a heartbeat." However, so far in her pregnancy everything has been perfect and beautiful and she feels hopeful. "Phew, it was very hard to keep that to yourself for so long!", Teigen concludes.

About two years ago, Teigen also announced via Instagram that her family, husband Legend and two children Luna Simone and Miles Theodore, are mourning the loss of their young son Jack. "We are in shock and in a deep pain that we have never felt," Teigen wrote at the time. The child had died in the mother's womb in the sixth month. Teigen also reported on the hospital stillbirth.

In a later interview with People magazine, Teigen said she feared she might never have a child again. She later revealed to her fans via Instagram that she had undergone what is known as in vitro fertilization. In this type of artificial insemination, healthy egg cells are taken from the woman and fertilized in a test tube with the man's sperm cells.
