Alcohol stolen: Ezra Miller charged with burglary

Actor Ezra Miller keeps getting into trouble with the law. After harassment and assault, he is now accused of burglary and theft. He is said to have stolen several bottles of alcohol from the absent resident of the house he entered.

Ezra Miller is charged with burglary and theft. The 29-year-old actor is due to appear in court in Vermont in September this year. This emerges from a statement from the state police in Vermont.

The incident happened on May 1, 2022. At 5:55 p.m., the police were informed that a residential building had been broken into. "The initial investigation revealed that several bottles of alcohol were stolen from the home while the homeowners were not present," the report said. "Following an investigation that included surveillance video and witness testimony, Ezra M. Miller was charged with aggravated burglary into an unoccupied home."

Police located Ezra Miller on August 7 and presented him with a subpoena. On September 26 he has to face the indictment in court.

The Vermont burglary isn't the only instance in which Ezra Miller came into contact with the police. The "Flash" actor was briefly arrested twice this year in Hawaii. Once he had rioted in a karaoke bar. He is said to have shouted obscenities and tried to snatch the microphone from a visitor's hand. He later attacked a man playing darts. On another occasion, he allegedly injured a woman with a chair he threw at her.

That's not all: the parents of an 18-year-old have accused the former child star of manipulating their daughter. "Ezra uses violence, intimidation, threats of violence, fear, paranoia, delusions and drugs to control young Tokata," according to a court document filed by the parents in North Dakota.

Since 2016, Ezra Miller, who identifies as non-binary, has embodied the lightning-fast superhero The Flash in the DC Extended Universe. He was also seen as Credence Barebone in the films of the "Fantastic Beasts" series. The already shot "Flash" solo film with him in the leading role is scheduled to hit the cinemas in 2023, despite all the negative headlines.
