The police spoke to a victim on Sunday night in connection with an alleged sexual assault. This was in the hospital after suffering minor injuries during the attack. Mystikal was later identified as a suspect.
The rapper, best known for the 2000 song "Shake Ya Ass," whose real name is Michael Tyler, was eventually arrested and sent to prison. This was confirmed by a police spokesman, according to "NBC News".
Mystikal was convicted of rape in 2004 and was subsequently imprisoned for six years. In 2017, he was again charged with sexual assault. He served an additional 18 months in prison before being released on $3 million bail. The charges were dropped in late 2020.
