Athletics / Manchester Meeting. Savoyard Manon Trapp breaks the 9-year-old record at the 5000m!

The Aix international ManonTrapp, a Manon Trapp from Aix, completed her 5000m in just 15'35'04. This is the league record for hopefuls. The old record, which was held since 2013 by Stephanoise Audrey Audiard (16'35''12), dates back nine years.

After her cross-country title in France, the Aix hopeful was named Sportswoman of February by the Dauphine Libere. She is looking good on the tartan. She also holds the ASA all-category mark over this distance. Chantal Dallenbach's old record of 15’36’’04 dates back to 1996. Manon Trapp will be able to reach the minimum for the 5,000m at European Championships Munich (15'25), i.e. On June 11, in Carquefou or at the end June in Caen during French Elite Championships.
