Athletics. Meba-Mickael Zeze is the second fastest Frenchman behind Christophe Lemaitre.

This pillar of the French 4x100m relay was 28 years old. He had previously set records of 10 sec 15 above 100 m and 21 sec 41 over 200m in 2021.

Meba-Mickael Zeze, a Meba-Mickael Zeze, achieved an historic performance in La Chaux-de-Fonds (a small town in Neuchatel, near the French border). This was possible thanks to a traditional fast track, an altitude around 1,000m, and perfect conditions. (heat, regular and favorable wind).

He ran the 100m in just 9 sec 99 (1.6 M/s wind) and became the fourth tricolor to cross the symbol barrier of 10 seconds, after Ronald Pognon (9.99), Christophe Lemaitre (9.92), and Jimmy Vicaut (9.86).

He completed 200m in 19 sec.97 (1.2m/s) an hour later. This was the third French time after Christophe Lemaitre's 19sec 80 and 19sec 91.

Meba-Mickael Zeze, the first European to complete the half-lap in under 20 seconds, was beaten by Mena Reynier from Cuba.

Zeze will be competing in the Eugene Worlds 4x100m relay, despite his dream day. Zeze was not selected individually in the 200m or 100m, and the qualifying period expired a week ago.
