Baby joy at the age of 42: "Blümchen" celebrates divorce and pregnancy

In the 1990s, Jasmin Wagner celebrated big hits as "Blümchen", in 2019 the big comeback follows. A lot is also changing privately with the singer, who is now divorced again after years of marriage – and on top of that is pregnant.

Double luck with Jasmin Wagner - and in an unusual composition. On Instagram, the singer, who went by the name "Blümchen", happily announced that she was now divorced. The 42-year-old also told the "Bild" newspaper that she would soon be expecting her first child.

The singer and actress looks back on her marriage to entrepreneur Frank Sippel with mixed feelings, but without resentment. "Grateful for all the good we shared and what I got to learn as things changed. Excited for all that's in store for me now!" Wagner wrote on her Instagram post, which included a sign that read, "Just Divorced" ("Freshly Divorced"). She was married to Sippel for ten years before the separation took place in 2020 – and now the divorce has also been completed.

"Blümchen" and her new life partner, a Danish entrepreneur, are looking forward to the offspring with great anticipation: "I feel full of energy. The baby will come in winter. I'm curious whether I'll still fit in my winter boots." Her new partner is very loving. "We are both experiencing this for the first time. The greatest adventure begins now."

Although "Blümchen" and her new one have only been a couple for about a year and a half, the offspring does not come as a surprise. "I came back from a long trip. We missed each other so much for the first time and knew that we were ready for the next step. It worked surprisingly quickly, right on the first try. And we're more than happy about it ."

Wagner didn't want to tell the newspaper whether it was a boy or a girl. "The sex has been written on a small piece of paper in my wallet for a long time. We haven't opened it yet and are waiting for the right moment."

Jasmin Wagner became known in the 1990s as "Blümchen" with songs like "Herz to Herz" or "Kleiner Satellit". The artist was also seen as a moderator and actress. At the beginning of 2019, Jasmin Wagner celebrated her flower comeback after around 18 years - and with "Computerliebe" she also had a new single in her luggage. In 2021, the 42-year-old then dedicated herself to a new genre of music: electro hits.
