Baden-Wuerttemberg: Motorcyclists are critically injured in a rear-end collision

Hockenheim (dpa / lsw) - A 26-year-old motorcyclist was fatally injured in a rear-end collision with a car on federal highway 39 near Hockenheim (Rhein-Neckar district). At high speed, the driver drove into the back of a car waiting on the road because of traffic, the police said in the evening. The injured motorcyclist was taken to hospital by rescue helicopter. The 47-year-old driver was not injured. The B39 was closed for around three and a half hours during the rescue work.
