Osnabrück (dpa / lsw) - SV Waldhof Mannheim suffered a setback in the 3rd football league in the fight for the top spots. At VfL Osnabrück, the Palatinate clearly lost on Saturday with 0:5 (0:3). They remain in sixth place in the table, two points behind the promotion relegation place.
The Mannheimers were outnumbered for a long time after Julian Riedel (45.1 minute) received a yellow-red card. At this point, Florian Kleinhansl (35') and Riedel (38') had already given VfL a 2-0 lead with an own goal.
