Baden-Württemberg: 1: 5 at Eintracht: Sandhausen loses last friendly

Frankfurt (dpa/lsw) - Second division soccer team SV Sandhausen clearly lost its last friendly before the winter break. Coach Alois Schwartz's team lost 5-1 (2-0) to Eintracht Frankfurt, the Champions League round of 16, on Friday afternoon.

At times the class difference was clearly recognizable. The SVS acted far too harmlessly on the offensive over long stretches. Only Dario Dumic scored for the guests (84th). The game had long since been decided by this point. Rafael Borré (9th/77th), Lucas Alario (27th), Tuta (48th) and Faride Alidou (49th) had previously scored for the fourth-placed Bundesliga team, who competed without his World Cup drivers.

The bottom of the table will resume preparations for the second half of the season on January 2nd. Points for staying in the class will be the focus again on January 29th. Opponent is Arminia Bielefeld away.
